Cape Town Hill Patrol

In late 2019 the South-African longboard producer Kent Lingeveldt, stumbled over my skateboarding comics from the 90s and reached out to me via my instagram, if I had interest to design a board for the team – Alpha Longboards Cape Town – absolutely.

The whole development process was during the time of Donald Trump, the killing of George Floyd and with it, a sad reminder about how important the Black Lives Matter movement is.

In close collaboration Kent and I developed the single portraits of the team riders.
